Psicogamer Project

Psicogamer is an informative blog about video games with a psychological and educational focus. The objective of this project is to be able to educate society about the positive aspects of video games and their proper use. It also raises curiosity about the role of psychology in the development of video games.

In the Psicogamer project, I do:

  • Articles and videos related to the psychology and development of videogames to communicate scientific studies that have been carried out and, thus, demystifying negative beliefs regarding videogames.

  • Consultancies, workshops, talks, and webinars for parents, educators, mental health professionals, educational centers, companies, and anyone who has the need to learn about video games, with topics related to: benefits of playing video games, the proper use of video games, risks of improper use of video games, risks when playing online, the importance of time management, how to establish rules at home, how to strengthen the parent-child bond through video games, video game classification and other forms of it, when and how to use parental control, recommendations to take advantage of video games, what to do if the child wants to be a Youtuber or professional gamer. My goal has been to help them make well-informed decisions about video games.

  • Encourage psychology professionals and other workers to conduct video game research.
