Project Overview
As part of a large consumer goods eCommerce account, I supported the management and optimization of digital product content across multiple brands and major retail platforms.
My responsibilities covered different stages of the digital commerce workflow, from reviewing and auditing existing product content to creating and updating visual assets, validating quality, supporting content syndication, and monitoring retailer implementation.
In addition to design production, I took on responsibilities related to quality assurance, process improvement, reporting, and team support, giving me a broader view of how creative, content, and operational processes work together within large-scale eCommerce environments.
My core activities included:
Digital Shelf Audits: Conducted detailed audits across retailer websites and content-management platforms to identify missing, outdated, inconsistent, or incorrectly displayed product content.
Hero Image Optimization: Created and updated Hero Images to improve product visibility and ensure alignment with brand standards, eCommerce best practices, and retailer specifications.
Enhanced Content Development: Created and maintained Enhanced Content assets designed to communicate product benefits, features, and key information through clear and visually engaging compositions.
Content Creation & Adaptation: Adapted existing assets and developed new eCommerce content according to different product, brand, and retailer requirements while maintaining visual consistency.
Quality Assurance: Reviewed assets and digital content before delivery or publication, checking visual accuracy, specifications, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines.
Content Syndication: Supported product content distribution through platforms such as Salsify and Syndigo, helping ensure approved assets and information reached the appropriate retailer environments.
Retailer Validation: Reviewed live retailer pages to verify that syndicated content was correctly implemented and documented discrepancies that required correction or follow-up.
Reporting & Insights: Prepared reports based on audit findings, content status, and retailer implementation to help identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
Workflow & Project Tracking: Managed tasks and production progress using project-management tools, helping maintain visibility of priorities, deadlines, reviews, and deliverables.
Team Support & Quality Leadership: Supported the team as a subject-matter resource and quality reference, assisting with reviews, questions, workflow consistency, and project continuity when additional leadership support was required.
